We believe we grow best in our relationship with God, each other, and our community when we practice our faith locally.
Communities are simply where you live. We place all of our members and participants in a Community, a geographically-based mini-congregation. An elder and a deacon based in each community provide physical and spiritual care in the same neighbourhoods in which they live.
Community Life Events are events that are intended to help people connect with each other, get to know each other, and develop a sense of belonging. These events can be social events like pot lucks, walks, welcome parties, games nights, backyard fires, movie nights, and many more creative activities each Community dreams up.
Community Groups are small groups within each Community that meet for an agreed-upon time to intentionally grow deeper in four areas: fellowship, care, discipleship, and mission. These can be for Bible study, a mission project, a book study, movie group, grief care, etc. Participation is voluntary, open and intergenerational.
