We are a large church, yet we intentionally practice small church ways. One practice is to place all of our members and participants in a Community, a geographically-based mini-congregation. Each Community is made up of folks who live near each other and can help each other grow together in four areas: fellowship, pastoral care, discipleship, and mission.
The twelve Communities are a natural connecting point for welcoming and enfolding newcomers to the congregation, and many have small groups that meet regularly for more intentional times of Bible study, prayer, and service. Each Community is overseen by a pastor, elder and deacon, who look for ways to help everyone connect with each other, engage with their communities, and grow in faith in Christ.
