Hello my community!! Long time, no typing??

There a quite a few changes going on in the Hughes household, all good, but these changes have kept me from doing what I am passionate about (blogging and social media-ing with all you fine folks). As I mentioned in my previous post, we purchased our first house and were renovating a few rooms (some of you have been following that adventure, thanks for the support!), but we just moved in this past Saturday. We've had a few plumbing set backs and we just got the countertop installed, but I am straying here a little.

We moved. This will include saying goodbye to my Community Care Group and saying hello to a new one. Change can be scary, but because of this move I will get to know even more members of our church on a deeper level, and that is just amazing. So I just want you all to know, the next couple weeks I will still be a little absent as we finish unpacking and painting and CLEANING (oh the drywall dust is just everywhere), but know the end is in sight and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

I will leave with Paul's closing line of chaper 15 from 1 Corinthias,

"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
